1993- Jose Conseco
In May 1993, Jose was a Texas Ranger Baseball player (not to be confused with the Texas Rangers Lawmen). Jose was working for none other than George Bush Jr. Jose, not known for his intelligence, pitching, defensive play, taste in woman, manners, or class was playing right field against the Cleveland Indians. Right field is generally considered to be the place where you stick your worst defensive player so it wasn't a coincidence that Jose was in right field. Carlos Martinez hit a "routine fly ball" to Conseco. For a brief but soon to be immortal instant, Jose wore the ball on his hat. The ball then bounced of Conseco's head for a homerun. After careful deliberation, the selection committee decided that Conseco had, in fact, worn the ball on is hat and thus was fully qualified for induction into the Silly ass hat Hall of fame.
